Belajar Sehat-The consequences of climate change is a significant challenge to the environment, the global economy and human health, with changes that affect future generations. Sustainable development is very crucial in the successful mitigation framework on climate change. Not only the future generations who are in threat of danger, several communities in certain regions have been experiencing climate change impacts such as small islands and some developing countries. Real action in order to mitigate the impact of climate change requires (1) a focus on fairness and sustainability of development by working on many levels; (2) cooperate constructively on the international level; and (3) a strong national policy and also individually (Landon, 2006).
Climate change does not affect evenly on the environment and the variety of the world's population. The United States produces 28% of greenhouse gases only has a population of as much as 5% of the world population. A country's or region's ability to deal with climate change depends on the level of wealth, technology and infrastructure.
Countries with medium income level down, have no industry, transportation, or intensive farming systems have a limited ability to protect themselves against the damaging consequences of climate change. Such as sea level rise will threaten Bangladesh and small islands in the Pacific Ocean. In connection with it, climate change is a challenge for environmental justice and health. The election not to use the technology frequently becomes more expensive, energy-efficient technologies with lower ketidakkeseimbangan in short periods of time, but will raise the issue of global warming (Pats and Kovats, 2002).
Sustainable development is a key factor in climate change mitigation mitigation in order to succeed in a long period of time, then the real policies and measures will require cooperation with the environmental protection initiatives, boost economic growth, and enhance social justice (IPCC, 2001-b).
The influence of global climate change on human health in the outline. Most likely this global climate change caused by human activities, such as industrial activities, transportation and the intensification of agriculture. There are consequences of the impact of health both directly and indirectly. Need cooperation at country level or for an individual to conduct sustainable development in a fair manner, for example the existence of the Kyoto Protocol is one of the international effort to lower the levels of greenhouse gas emissions as the cause the onset of global warming and climate change.
